T2W5 Journal Writing: Kindness

'Hi Everyone, Last week, we were treated to an assembly talk on kindness. Kindness is defined in Collins Cobuild Dictionary as 'the quality of being gentle, caring and helpful.' We can be kind to others in our words, thoughts and deeds.
Here are some quotations on kindness for you to ponder:'Kind words can be short and easy to speak but their echoes are truly endless.' (Mother Teresa)
'Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.' (Mark Twain)
' I expect to pass through this world but once; any good thing therefore that I can do, or any kindness that I can show to any fellow creature, let me do it now; let me not defer or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again.' (Stephen Grellet)For this week, I would like you to reflect on the meaning of kindness in your life. To guide you in your writing, here are some questions for you to consider:
What do you mean by 'kindness'?
Kindness means to help other people from deep down in your heart.

Has anyone shown any kindness to you? Can you describe how he/she did it?
Yes, my tution friend had shown kindness to me. When I dropped my pencil on the floor, she helped me to pick it up.

Have you done any act of kindness to anyone? Can you describe what you have done?
Yes, I have done an act to my P3 chinese teacher, Mr Koo. I volunteered to help carry his pile of heavy workbooks.

What acts of kindness do you intend to do for the month of April and May?
I intend to help to volunteer in helping my teachers and friends in the month of April and May.
