T3W1:Holiday Homework

'Hi Everyone,
We are back after a long holiday break. During the school holidays, many pupils were given holiday homework. Some pupils liked the idea while others felt that there should not be any homework at all. In this blog, you are encouraged to pen your thoughts on holiday homework. To help you, I have listed some questions for you to reflect on:

1. What holiday homework were you required to do? I was required to do an english worksheet, two science worksheets, and mother tongue homework.

2. Do you think it was necessary for your teachers to give you homework during the school holidays? Yes, as the exams were around the corner.

3. Give reasons to support why schools should give or should not give holiday homework to their pupils. You should try to build up a strong argument in support of your case.
Schools should give holiday homework to us to help us when we are not in school.

4. If pupils are given holiday homework, what assignment do you think is suitable?

I think that having more holiday homework is better as it helps us to buck up our school subjects.

I hope to read your reflection soon.

T2W2 Journal Writing : My Dad

Hi Everyone,
Beside your mother, your father plays a very important part of your family life.

For this week\'s journal writing, you are to write about your Dad and tell him how much he means to you. You will complete the phrase \"You\'re my Dad for life and I\'m really happy when you ...\".

It would be fantastic if you could include pictures of your Dad in the blog. I will not be giving any guiding questions because I know that all your response will be very different.

Looking forward to reading your journal writing this week.

My Dad does play a important part of my family life. My Dad means a lot to me as he helps us earn money to buy things. When my Mom tells my Dad not to spoil us by buying toys for us, but he will end up buying us lots and lots of times.

If I were to say something for the last time, I would tell my Dad " Daddy, I love you!"
